"This is an odd place to stop for an ice cream." Came the calm, cool voice of the archangel. Just over the Spider's left shoulder. When she turned, she'd find a tall man (he was tall, darn it! He just looked short next to Dean and Sam!), just under six feet, in a dark suit with a beige overcoat. He was standing on the roof.
Yep.
Just an average looking man, in sensible shoes, in his suit, standing on a roof where there'd been no one but her just a second ago. Hey, this was Knowhere, stranger things had happened. Of course.. this one had to be at the top of the list. How had he gotten there?
Could he get back down? Why hadn't she heard him? Why hadn't her spidey-sense gone off when he'd climbed up? Had he climbed up? There were just too many questions and the man in his suit, with that curiously blank expression, didn't seem like the type to enjoy answering questions.
Too-blue eyes settled onto her a second later, then his head slowly turned so he was facing her fully, but the rest of his body remained still. Unnaturally still. Castiel wasn't very good at this 'human' thing, but he had his moments. Now was not one of them.
"You've been very busy." As if he'd seen it all.
He had seen it all.
Try not to be too creeped out, Little Miss Spidey.
