Meetra offered a polite bow, and then inclined her head to the praise. "Thank you." Most Jedi, she knew, would not take the praise. They would find fault in it. But she was unlike most Jedi. She was defining what serving the Light meant under her own terms. And as an exile, she was allowed to do such things. Not that there was a Council to answer to here. She might explain herself if there was, depending on who sat on it and who would listen.
She took a breath, then another, before it evened out. She had still practiced a lot, and was still worn, but the advantages of living through a war that did not adhere to anything the Jedi would ever consider 'standard' was that she could regain her composure and her breath to continue on if needed. It was a trick so ingrained in her she barely noticed it. "I hope I am not interrupting your own training. If you require space, do let me know and I shall give it." Meetra understood needing a place for yourself. This place, like the Hawk was busy and often crowded. A bit of breathing space was a luxury, and one she would readily give if it was needed.
Yet before she would she gathered a bottle of water and after taking a sip walked to Gamora and extended one of the 'Sabers to her. So many in this place seemed oddly delighted by the 'Sabers and by the fact they could hold one. She did not think Gamora was one, but she seemed to be one who appreciated weapons for what they were. "The button will turn it on." She motioned to the blade emitter. "The blade will extend from there. Be cautious, it cuts through limbs without any issue and only a few metals I know of will withstand it." that was a warning she would give anyone unfamiliar with the blades. She would not wish to visit medical and explain that her practice had gotten someone's limbs removed. In her own world that wasn't a hardship, but it could be different here.
"I can show you a few of the forms that do not require the use of the Force if you should wish it?"
