Six hundred years, so Ryder says and I'm inclined to believe her. They shipped out before the Batarian incident that saw us grounded. I'd say I don't think she knows the whole extent of it but, considering the Reapers followed us here? She's got an idea. And you're never the odd duck. You're like the little Brother I always wanted.
You know what? Now that there's no council or brass to worry about? Fuck Udina. That guy was as crooked as they come and shooting him felt damn good.
HA! Oh. What I wouldn't pay to meet that kid though. Grunt. Never thought I'd have liked a tank bred Krogan so much. I don't know, maybe it was killing the Thresher Maw on foot, but...I just couldn't get enough of the kid.
Nobody could have predicted the Reapers and what they'd do to everyone's retirement plans. Hell, I don't even know what I do if I was back there and this was over. Upside to all the chaos of this place? There's really not much in the ways of dull moments. We've been lucky, relatively speaking, but I don't hold onto the idea of that lasting. So that pilots chair? She's yours as long as you want it. When it comes time to retire? We'll build something nice on the space head -- or hell, just keep living on the ship. She's the best home I've ever had anyway.
'Course you can. I just can't promise to let go right away.
