"Very surprising to meet you, Nebula." Rose offered an amused little smile. "Glad to hear it. I'll be on my best non-shootable behaviour."
It was an odd request, but not an inconvenient one. She wondered what the other woman expected to happen, but figured that it was as easy to do as she was asked as it was to question it. "Can do." She started walking towards the door, frequently looking back over her shoulder. She didn't get too far away before something shifted and she suddenly found herself standing next to Nebula.
The sensation of teleportation was familiar, though the experience lacked the slight smell of ozone that always accompanied her use of the dimension cannon. She frowned down suspiciously at the passport on her wrist. "Oh. Yes, I see what you mean about something strange."
Rose turned to head deeper into the library this time, but didn't get any farther before she ended up back where she'd started again. It was as though there were an invisible elastic band connecting the two and snapping them back together when it reached its limit. Yeah, because this isn't going to be annoying and awkward at all. She ran a hand roughly through her hair. "I suppose you tried leaving earlier and had the same thing happen?"
