"I call my spells without ingredients," She offered, a bit more gently then she would otherwise. Proud of her skills as she was, she wasn't as sharp as she might be around anyone else. "And perhaps you can, but I'll wager it takes something out of it. I could lend you all the books I studied, and if you had the propensity for it you could call the magic, but unless you'd be willing to break with logic," and rules, especially those, "doing what I can do would be outside of your grasp. The more one defines things, the more one is confined by rules and cannot, the less they will see their own potential."
She was almost purposefully not saying how destructive air could be. Wind could be as sharp as blades in some hands, and any gale force could destroy the homes of many. "Air huh? Well we're a match," she gave with a grin, "Air is good for fire. You'll have to show me what you've got one of these days." She liked testing herself against others. Perhaps her blood gave her an advantage, but she'd never know until she tested. And she could perhaps learn. Air was not an element she'd ever practiced in, but give her enough time and she'd get the hang of it.
"Come on, let's go for a walk." She tended to get this way, pushing and determined, even around the innocent people. Besides, given how dangerous this place could be, it might be best to get the boy off the streets. They already had eyes on them, best get out of those. She had plenty of ways to take care of herself but now someone was under her protection. She wouldn't want him harmed. Not that anyone would live through that, but the point remained. "Are you from this Earth everyone is on about as well?" She asked before starting to move. "I am not." She gave to her own question. "I really can't see what all the fuss is about except apparently Alchemy books." Smiling she turned to Alphonse. "So tell me what is the fuss all about? Do you have any angels? Demons?" Perhaps she was asking too much, too quick but well she had a source right here. She would find whatever information she could.
