Charlie shook her head as tears filled her eyes. "No. No, you don't get to say that, Castiel!" She turned to face him, "I'm a big girl. I may not have done it yet, but I know that I made a choice. And I know you," a soft smile crept across her face. "If you could have done something, you would have."
She let out a sigh as she brought an arm around Castiel's shoulders and laid her head down on his shoulder. "I'm sure Rowena was none too happy that Lucifer killed her son. I know that they weren't exactly close, but family is family." She paused, "at least... that's how I feel about you and the boys."
The child of Lucifer was a lot to take on, but she knew that is anyone could do it, it was Sam and Dean Winchester. They would raise him, and if at any point, they discovered that Jack were nefarious, they would find a way to take care of him. It just sucked that Castiel wouldn't be there to help them. At least they seemed to have their mom now. That was something.
