It was impressive, admittedly, it was a nice display of the power Grey had just acquired - a being of pure fire. Good, it would mean he could walk through flame - a talent he'd not had until then - it would help him catch a certain Flame Alchemist if it came to it. Standing behind both predators at the fore, Grey shimmered back into himself, having tested the shape of Sabo enough to be satisfied. He stood passively, watching the fire-lord launch his assault on the impenetrable armor, the behemoth being that was Texas, amused and interested insomuch as he wanted to see the sorts of things he himself would be able to do with the newly acquired ability.
If Sabo stood there beating on Texas they'd be at this pissing contest all day, however. So the shape that was Grey rolled his eyes, adjusted his (now blood free) jacket and strode forward toward them, unconcerned as usual. He could die all day and get back up again. It hurt, sure, but it wasn't enough to stop him.
"Are we done?" he called, despite the noise of Sabo pounding on Texas' armor. "You've made your point, we've ignored it, let's go about this like adults now, shall we?"
Clearly, neither Grey nor Texas were interested in a fight. Sabo's escalation had been met with the barest defense and little else. Grey waited patiently, expecting perhaps for the fire-lord to kill him again.
