Sabo, acting just as casual about this impending explosion as anyone, shrugged his shoulders. His smile was absolutely impenetrable - no amount of (admittedly cool) mechanical voices or throat-slitting threats could alter its placid angle.
"Well, these big ears of mine do more than frame my pretty face," he began, eyes passing back and forth between Tex and Grey. "I just tend to pick things up, even in a crowded room. Things like an offer from that creepy Collector, and something about using some other woman as bait?"
Even as he spoke, Sabo was beginning to put his guileful mind to work. If he wasn't looking at the two of them, he was glancing around the area to study his surroundings for terrain and protection, as well as attempting to decide which of the gruesome twosome was physically faster or stronger. He wondered if perhaps he should let Grey actually try to slit his throat - it might be funny to see his reaction. Maybe later. More importantly, he was trying to calculate how much he would need to hold back - this area was still populated, and if he put a little too much 'oomph' in, he might end up hurting the wrong people.
"...and you," he added, pointing an accusing finger at Grey, "...have a bad habit of tapping your fingers - or claws, or whatever. In the middle of a conversation, it's rude."
Pausing for a moment, the young man bent down for a moment and snatched up a small stone - probably some rubble from one of his previous visits. Small and jagged, it fit neatly into the palm of his gloved hand, and playfully, he began to toss it just lightly into the air and catch it on the way down again.
"Look, bounty-hunting is one thing, but I know that's not what this is," he sighed, tossing and catching the stone. "You've got no right to run around, locking people up just to line your own pockets."
Sabo tightened his grip, crushing the bit of rock into an amazingly fine powder in a split-second.
"I was going to dismiss everything at the bar as just a bunch of drunk talk, but now I find that you're shooting and drugging people already?" He shook his head solemnly, then dusted the remains of the rock from his hands. "Maybe you should give this some thought."
