It was much the same for Bill once the Secretary General of the UN had appeared in her apartment. Everything had gone down hill from there with the toxin and the monks and the mind control. Knowhere had been a reprieve - at least at first. The past weeks, though, that had been stress that she hadn't needed or wanted. Honestly, sometimes she wondered how she didn't just develop an ulcer or something. Was that still a thing? Stress ulcers? It seemed like such a 1990's affliction and she wasn't sure why.
"You couldn't move?" Bill sounded shocked, arching an eyebrow, "Well, that's kind of... Bullshit, honestly. Why turn someone into a doll if they can't run around scaring people?" As if she thought the whole thing had been anyone's choice. She hadn't although at least Ianto had come out of the deal plus one super power. "I... Was just the island in the storm. Things happened around me and I tried to help fix them. Didn't quite work out," she bit her bottom lip for a moment, patting the stool next to her in her moment's pause. "The Doctor left. The old man one with the eyebrows. Not like sent home left - just hopped into the TARDIS and left." She sounded proper miserable.
