Gingerly, he rubbed the back of his head, looking (and feeling) a bit reluctant to accept any sort of praise. Sabo didn't protest, though; there was nothing worse than someone who just couldn't take a compliment.
"I was angry, but kinda at myself? And I took it out on you. I didn't know that this place was messing around with some of us - I just snapped because you happened to be on fire at the time," he added, tossing in a soft sigh there at the end. "So, I'm sorry."
Suddenly, Sabo looked a bit more cheerful. His smile widened, and genuinely so. Maybe there was just something therapeutic about talking it out? Or maybe there was something about having Gambit touch his leg?
But then, as he realized that it was his turn to ask a question...he honestly didn't know what to ask. The entire world was open to him, and he had no idea where to start, or how delicately to tread. The look of concentration was actually visible on his face, with his brow lightly furrowed and his view suddenly skewing off to the side.
"Ummm...." Ooh, strong start. Then, a jolt of inspiration seemed to hit hm.
