Who: Harry Dresden, Sabo, 1610-Gambit What: Trope Shenanigans! When: Morning of the first day Where: Outside Studio Apartments Rating: Probably cursing, definitely explosions. Status: In Progress
A blonde young man, jittery and wide-eyed, stood in the four-way intersection just outside the door way to the 100 Block studio apartments. Sabo looked quite different than usual, as he was normally dressed in much finer attire whenever he went out; today, he was reduced to a loose, baggy night shirt and a pair of shorts - his pajamas, perhaps? As he waited, visibly trembling, his arms were far outstretched at his sides, and his expressions were drawn stark and panicked, as if he were literally afraid to touch anything around him. When your coffee cup actually explodes in your hands first thing in the morning, who could blame him for being a bit worried?
The bedroom door had been next. Then a lamp. The armrest of his chair. The doorknob to his apartment. Finally, the front door leading outside, which now lay in smoking pieces on the ground just a few steps away from his bare feet.
