It didn't directly answer the question, but it gave her enough. She had enough to think over with what she now knew, and enough to worry about what she didn't. "That is something." Enough for a start. The more pressing matters were clothes, and finding whatever was left that she could figure out. She nodded to his claims, having no real basis of disputing them. He was her only source of information, and thus the trusted one.
"Thank you, I would appreciate that." At his answer she released a breath. "That's good." While it sounded harsh it was at least one less thing to worry about. She wondered why not. Perhaps whatever she did that required a bodyguard who had the sort of experience only war could give may make her the sort of person who was too busy, or too focused on her work. Or any number of various reasons. "Worrying about someone else would prove distracting, and I suppose it could be a cruelty if someone you love no longer recalls you. If I need not worry about that, I can focus on remembering as best I can."
