Eventually she lowered her hand and walked back to the couch, sitting back down. She crossed her arms again before resting the back of her head on the back of the couch. "That would be appreciated." She hesitated, not knowing how many rules and boundaries she was exactly crossing here, and being irritated that she didn't know. He'd served her since she took over as head of family, which meant whoever her parents had been were no longer on this plane. She wondered if she was supposed to feel worse about that then she currently did.
"Tell me, what exactly do I do that it entailed all those injuries?" She raised her head again and raised an eyebrow. "I cannot remember a single thing, but you do not look like you have had a life of calm in my service. If you protect me, what do you protect me from exactly?" She reminded herself to see if she had any remnants of injuries herself later. Whatever life she led that entailed a bodyguard to look like he'd been put through several battles couldn't have been one that had left her without marks herself.
"And, can I do anything to help? You work for me, I can at least try something."
