"Well," she gave when he finished. "That is something I suppose." Dutifully she noted all of the things he'd said down on the paper and very much hoped he wasn't lying. Why he served her family was a question that was raised, but she figured she could deal with that a bit later. "That does seem like something to amend. Possibly later. I am rather hoping this all solves itself." Hoping against hope really. She would much rather just lay back down and wish this all away. Or just not deal with it. But if she did that, she'd not learn a thing. Best just to find out as much as she possibly could, deal with it all, and keep hoping something would return to her.
She had no other options, really.
Still, her frustration made her rise and pace. She felt caged and lost, and disliked both feelings. "Do I know anyone else here and do you know a way to restore what I have lost?" She motioned around her, "is this home, or is that elsewhere? How long have you served my family?" Then, she pointed to the book. "And is that important?" She felt they were fair enough questions, and so far she was keeping her cool. She wanted to many things, but none of them would help her. And if he was a servant of her family, this was probably just as weird to him.
