Maria felt the awkwardness raise and was more than happy to change the subject. She knew she'd missed a lot from not only not being in SHIELD any more but from having the others come from after she did. She was glad that Bobbi changed the subject or she would have done it together. "Sorry," she said before dropping it. She knew that leaving SHIELD was the only way to avoid going to jail and she knew there was going to be a lot of bad feelings about it all but she hoped they could avoid it.
So they would just not talk about it. At least for now. It would be awkward when they did, if they did.
"I'm not sure just yet, I'm probably going to look for an assistant position. It's been so long since I've been a field agent I'm not sure that I'd be good with anything hands on. Plus, I'm thinking if I can get an assistant to one of the Guardians I'd be able to keep an eye on everything and learn information that we might not know. Perhaps use it to find a way home," she shrugged. "Of course, I might not get it but that's what I'm thinking at the moment. You just going to work at the firing range?"
