Maria laughed at her friends reaction. “Noted though this isn’t bad. It’s not quite like it is back home. Close enough though thankfully. I’ll obviously avoid the Tequila given your reaction.” She studied Bobbi as she slowly sipped her drink. She nodded, she’d gathered that much which was interesting. Add in the fact that Steve and Natasha had a child too… From the little she knew of that world she couldn’t help but wonder what happened to them all. It was somewhat obvious that they were all dead from the little she’d read of his conversations.
She wondered what she was like in that world. Though she also wondered if she actually wanted to know. She supposed she did, she needed knowledge so she wasn’t unawares.
“Yeah, what do you think of that?” she asked curiously. It must have been a shock to suddenly discover you were a mother in an alternative world and not even with her ex-husband. “Though Clint has to be better than Lance,” she teased slightly.

The blonde shook her head, sending locks tumbling over her shoulders as she looked around Maria snorted. them - the sting of the liquor was still burning in the back of her throat and it was, some what a little ashamedly, exactly the feeling she wanted right now. Knowhere was a lot to take in. Hunter being in another fucking dimension was a lot to take in. Apparently having some kid in yet another dimension was even more. If she could just get the damn gun range finally set up she’d have somewhere to take out her frustrations on. Bobbi Morse didn’t do good idle, she didn’t do good when she was faced head on with emotions that her brain, at some level, had no idea how to process. All of this? All of this was a lot to process.
Bobbi groaned, “ Hunters not that bad.” She retorted, picking up her beer and bringing it to her lips. The ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent took a long sip, swallowing it down. The beer was familiar. Though, part of her wagered that beer was probably the damn same anywhere. It was simple enough to make and it stood to reason that most habitable galaxies probably had similar plants. So, at least there was that. “It doesn’t really fucking matter, I mean, that child Rogers is just being an asshole. I did promise Natasha I’d be more polite to him though. So I’m going to make a valiant attempt at that.” Bobbi huffed, she hadn’t meant to be so harsh with the kid. But he’d struck a nerve she hadn’t actually realized she had.

Maria snorted. “Not that bad? Do I have to remind you of all the stories, the times you came ranting to me and threatened to kill him?” she asked raising an eyebrow at her friend. She really did like Bobbi but she could never imagine in any world where Lance Hunter could be described as ‘not that bad’. “I mean, I know he is working for SHIELD these days which by the way I don’t understand but I’ll take all the help we can get but I don’t trust him and I doubt I ever will.”
She’d never liked him and had never kept it a secret. She really didn’t understand why Bobbi kept giving him a chance especially after everything he’d done.
“Unless they turn up but he’s the only one from his world as far as I’ve been able to tell so that is something,” she mused. She wouldn’t rule it out, this place seemed to be unpredictable enough that anything could happen but with the other worlds there was more than one person. At least other versions of her world. “I guess polite is good. What happened with him? I saw your comments and you seemed rather…. Upset about something?” she finally settled on.
