Bruce I'm so sorryAs one friend to another, let me tell you, arguing with Sharon is actually harder to do than arguing with me. I'm guessing she didn't even give you so much as inch huh?
Bruce...
I don't think you're a hero. I know you are. I believe it, I see it in you, even right now. A hero isn't someone with the power to do what they want and who does it with some sense of impunity. That's what Tony doesA hero is someone who understands the responsibility of that power and you have that. I believe you followed me off the station because you knew it was the right thing to do and, on top of that? You're doing it right now. The worry you have? It's traits like that which make up all heroes.
I know you would. I know not a day goes by where you wouldn't split the two of you, where you wouldn't go back and make sure that your accidentit never happened. I don't know if it was the same for you, I'm not going to assume any more than I am going to ask you to talk about it if you don't want to. I know I could sit down and tell you all the things you've done, all the great accomplishments you've made where I'm from, and it wouldn't help.
You're a good man Bruce Banner. I know you might not be able to see that, to feel it or believe it, so I'll carry that belief for you for awhile. I'll remind you every day if that's what it takes. We can start that working a little on what I suggested before if that interests you. I don't care if it's just coming by with a tea a for you, sitting with you while you drink it, and reminding you that I'm still you're friend, that I still care, and, in the interest of full disclosure, that I've dug my heels in on that point. You won't be changing my mind.
Would you mind if I can by now, got a start on those tea visits? I know you need to shut yourself off, but I'm not about to let you turn into an island. That's not going to help you.
