She took a drink of her own coffee then and winced at the temperature of it, how it burned all the way down. "When I was a kid, I didn't know what kids were up to. I was concentrating on school. She considered this. "Cause and effect... happens everywhere in nature. And yes, Gotham could be considered nature. But I don't believe that the Batman inspired anyone to do anything that wasn't already in their blood or their brains. Maybe they saw him as a challenge they had to meet, but in my mind, that only proves how unhinged they are. Who would want to challenge that besides a mad man? Or woman?"
