Who: CD & Layla, and any takers to the bait! :) What: Layla is bored and fishing is slowly forming in her mind. Where: CD's new rooms, and eventually, the lake. When: Present time Warnings: Uhhhhhhhh...fish hooks? There's the horizontal tango happening here, mates!
It had taken Charles finally getting annoyed with her constant badgering, but he'd given her something to do. Hell, Layla had even found the nagging to be a recent favorite past time, but with the reports in front of her, she had no choice but to put that hobby aside so she could throw all of her concentration on the legal documents before her.
The papers were composed of boring things, such as stenography reports from the cases in which Charles attended. She had read all 400 pages of one particular case, being very strict about grammatical errors and careful with the questions and answers given. With Charles, any slip up on the part of whichever attorney or lawyer meant that he could easily turn a case around. Layla was well attuned in finding these errors, and quite happy to have done the whole thing within a few hours.
Now that it was over, and Charles had left grounds for the day, there was no one to bug about work. She'd not gotten nearly a quarter of her daily work load, and everything else was so boring when you were confined to a bed. So, she got up to go take a look around the Haus, walk as far as she could for today. It was when she got to the new area in the breast of the Dragon that the sounds of furniture moving had caught her attention. New level gear was to be inspected, pronto!
How surprised was she to see one of her handsome caretakers hanging a light fixture?
