Concrit meme - Take 31!
Posting now 'cause I might not be around much today and on the 1st!

We're having a concrit meme again! The rules are the same as last time:

Comment to this post with a list of your characters.

Then reply anonymously to the other players, giving concrit on how they're playing/their characterization/their interactions/etc. Or ask them stuff, like why did chara A did this or say that or w/e.

Flame anyone, and I'll kill you in the face. I'm looking for something that can help us improve, not for someone to go 'OMG YOU SUCK!!11!' at someone else. If you really do believe someone's screwing up, then be civil, and explain why you feel that way.

You can just praise a character, if you can't find anything wrong with what they do. It's always better if you can elaborate on why you like that character, but hey, flailing at someone is fine too.

This is semi-mandatory! If you really, really can't take concrit, then go ahead and don't participate, but I'd rather everyone did.

Other than canon reviewing to help reaffirm her voice (maybe even check Tsubasa's Koriyo arc, she might be a little different there but it's essentially the same character, and it could help with a canon so short as hers), the only advice I can think of is to simply play her.

You always had a tendency to drop threads very quickly, save for a few exceptions, but the problem is that if you don't stick with some of them at least, it's too easy for the character's interactions to only be sorta generic, and to never lead anywhere. Other characters in the game won't have a real bond with her, your character won't either, and they won't know what each other is doing, what bothers them, what's happening. They won't care. That means her involvement in the game also becomes superficial, and you end up having nothing to say to others, or to post about, or not having real reasons to tag anyone unless something really specific pings her.

If you find the activity too demanding, try to keep tags to a number you're comfortable with, but stick with them. I'm sure nobody'd mind if you were a little slower, either, and it's always more satisfying to have a good thread even if it's slow, than a quick short one that ends up being meaningless.

You might also want to poke people for plotting, having a purpose and not only doing random threading can help a lot, even moreso if you have trouble sticking with threads.

I have to say, from what I've seen from her recently, her voice seemed fine, so I hope you'll feel more confident and comfortable with her soon. It's really great to have you back in the game, and CH was always one of my favorite characters from you :) So good luck!

Thank you, anon, I think you're right. I just need to force myself into it properly. With activity, lately life has been pretty exhausting with just random stuff and it's been killing my "proper in-game RPing" motivation. (Not just with Chun Hyang, in my other games too.) So I dropped a lot of threads and then just felt awkward picking them up again when I was so late. I think with Chun Hyang I think I will have to just take it easy for a while (and I am still on hiatus thingy for a while longer) and go slow, like you said. Thanks for the comment!

	For what it's worth, Oz, don't ever feel like you can't tag me back on anything. I have absolutely no qualms about having late tags - no matter how late! (I get late tags a lot from people and sometimes give them myself.) And I have absolutely no trouble with slower tagging! I'd love to hear how I'm doing with Hideki. Is he too flaily? Is he not flaily enough?
And the others, too. Am I screwing up with someone? Idk what I'm doing lately, to be honest... I know I should work on Keiichi's activity - his muse is kinda quiet right now, but it's probably just a matter of time before I feel inspired with him again |D;;

Fail activity aside... please tell me how I'm doing? Ages ago, there was an anon that wanted to see more of Koryuu's mischievous side, and considering he's less bored in Kiseki lately I hope he's been coming off as being in a better mood. Any input, for any character, would be very welcome.
