Concrit meme - Take 75!
We're having a concrit meme again! The rules are the same as last time:

Comment to this post with a list of your characters.

Then reply anonymously to the other players, giving concrit on how they're playing/their characterization/their interactions/etc. Or ask them to elaborate on different events and choices with their characters - why did [character] do x or y, and so on.

Flames will simply get screened or deleted - and, if I can track it down, you could be banned. The idea is to help us all improve and clear out possible misunderstandings, point out activity issues, etc, not to simply insult someone. The more you can elaborate and specify (in a civil, reasonable way) why something bothers you, the better.

You can just praise a character/mun, if you can't find anything wrong with what they do. It's always better if you can elaborate on why you like that character (then that person can know what they're doing right), but hey, flailing at someone is fine too.

This is semi-mandatory! If you aren't comfortable with the HMD, or don't feel like posting every time, or whatever the reason is, it's just fine, go ahead and don't participate. Obviously, I'd rather everyone did.

And one last thing - we're a small game! If nobody comments, then the meme doesn't work. If you receive comments, try to leave at least one of your own to somebody else. It's always better if we have many replies, and various POVs.

Iiii did try to spread out my boys more with non-castmate/less-close CR, and to not overload the usual CR so much so I'd get more of a chance to mingle with others, following the crit received last time. I have no clue if that was successful, but an attempt was made at least.

I think you're doing a great job with Chibiusa so far, and have no crit to offer for her, just a general gushing about how cute and charming she is. It never comes across as forced or strained... it all seems perfectly natural, and it's clear that you're at ease playing her and have fun playing her, too. It was a good choice and I can't wait to see more of her!

I do have some crit for Athos, however. I think in some ways you play up Athos' insular nature a little too much? I feel like he's almost too idle, and perhaps part of this is just because I haven't seen him interacting much beyond Porthos and Aramis, but Athos is the leader of the three, he should therefore be pretty good at gathering information, interacting with others, at least on a professional basis, and taking charge. Instead, he seems to fade away mostly to the background and only seems to interact with others when he's drowning himself in alcohol.

Not that I don't think that's on par for Athos' character, and certainly when put in a stressful situation he feels powerless in, but at the same time, Athos as you're playing him now presents more like he's from the intro in the first episode rather than his canonpoint at the end of episode 10. He's grown a lot throughout the first season, and has a new standpoint after the confrontation with Milady. He's a little freer, perhaps, a little less guarded. But this doesn't come across at all in the threads he's in. I'm not saying he's going to be as interactive as Chibiusa is, but I feel like his general introverted nature is used as a reason for not tossing him around, when in reality he should be tossed around more than he is. If you're unsure where to start, both Porthos and Aramis have extensive CR that he can bounce off of, and there are plenty of compatible characters with his personality type in Kiseki, as well.

I think you do a fantastic job capturing Athos' voice, but as it stands, he seems far too reliant upon Porthos and Aramis. Which, again, isn't ooc on its own, but when coupled with the lack of interaction with others, the lack of acknowledgement of Milady, d'Artagnan, Paris itself, or anything of the like, he seems to exist mostly in a vacuum, when, despite not being as cheerful as Porthos or Aramis, should still be able to exist independent of them enough to develop his own CR and interaction with other people and the world itself, especially as he's the leader of the three.

I'm glad that Chibiusa is charming and not obnoxious in any way, hahaha. I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO LOVE HER DX (I almost said "as much as I do" but I doubt that's possible HA.....haha..... ;;;;)

Y'know, you're right? and I'm sorry for it. I've been thinking about what you've said all day, and I realize that I keep hitting a wall when trying to talk to other characters somewhere eventually in threads. I try to tag around with him and make CR and then just...eventually can't figure out what to say with him anymore. I'm going to do my best to figure out what's going on and how to change it. maybe a 28937405928354th watch through will jog something, but I'll definitely also keep your notes in mind.

I know you've mentioned recently on plurk and on the meme last time that you've felt a little slow with tagging and tagging around, but I just wanted to drop in a note to say that I've really enjoyed the threads I've had with you and also stalking threads you've had with others. I think that, even if there's a relative slowness due to your rl things and lack of inspiration at times, you're consistent with sticking with threads and building off of CR. So slow and steady wins the race, or whatever that proverb is. I adore all your characters and will always delight to see them around, and I think you do a fantastic job with all their different voices, personalities, and interests.

This has been a totally not crit comment by yours truly, anonymous the loser.

	da, I wanted to second all of this. I think you're a clear example of how it's possible to have a solid game presence, as well as interesting, varied CR and being involved in plots and events happening, without that having to equal being inhumanly speedy in terms of tags. (Reply to this) (Parent)

A few crit memes ago, I got some advice for Hook to spread him out more and I've been really, really trying to get him to be more present and to not rely so much on castmates. I still feel like I'm not doing quite as much as I should be with him, but if the anon from before has any additional advice/crit to add, I'd love to hear it.

And of course I'd love to hear anything on anyone, especially Isabela and Rin, as they're the newest.

I tried to up my activity and tagged around with all of my girls where and when I could. I hope that made a difference since last time.

Other than that, I'm still very new with Ty Lee! Please let me know if I'm doing it wrong, or off the mark somehow. I'm having a blast playing her, so if there's an issue I'd like to fix it. And as always, if you have any critique on the other girls, hit me up!

	I think it definitely shows that you made an effort with that, it was great to see them around. Ty Lee is amazing and I'm enjoying her so, so much. I love how shameless she is. Thanks so much, anon! She's silly, but can take things serious at times too, so I'm glad you think I handled it well. I can sometimes be a little slow on her tags since I have to think it out. She's a lot more forward than my other girls, too. (well... when it comes to the boys. ) So I'm relieved to hear that you're enjoying her!

I'll go right along and do my best to keep the activity up!

Steve has only been here a couple of days, but if you do find stuff to cit, please let me know and I'll get to fixing it early >>;;;

As for Sherlock (and just in general), I am still trying to be mindful of my spelling and grammar, being more aware of my character's voice not coming across as my own (cause he's such a jerk but I swear I'm not ;-; ), and being more open with other characters and allowing more CR to build.

As always, I appreciate the feedback and will do my best to work on any mistakes you guys might find ^^
