I think you handle reactions to things really well. I have no idea if that makes sense. What I mean is, having something happen to Kamui and then having him react, grow, and change through that interaction. Rather than “something happens, then it ends, then things continue on the same as always.” I think that when you aren’t afraid to have Kamui learn things, you handle that growth really well, and I think implementing that more in your entries and log posts will really help build more CR, in turn. Additionally, Kotori herself has a lot of CR so if you feel like you’re having a hard time getting Kamui to interact with others (and I don’t know if you are or not so please forgive me if I’m assuming) then maybe have him go off of what he knows about Kotori? Interact with her friends in order to grow his own CR and establish CR of his own?
I think creating those bonds and connections will really strengthen Kamui as a character, rather than having him operate around event-with-Kotori-and-Fuuma rinse & repeat. If that makes sense? I’m not saying he doesn’t interact with others – there’s the TRC versions of X characters, Hokuto, and Sakura(s), for example – but I guess what I want to see is more of that, because I think Kamui’s the kind of character who could really develop some varied and interesting bonds, and then that, in turn, can strengthen the bonds with Kotori and Fuuma, at least in an rp sense, because then other people can react and interact with those threads/reactions as well.
Phew, that’s a lot about Kamui. Sorry for the tl;dr! Nokoru is hilarious, as always, and I have absolutely zero crit to offer for him because he is just fantastic, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised to see his crackier interactions as well as his more reserved interactions. It shows a depth of character which I think you handle really well, and prevents Nokoru from simply being a really generic, slap-sticky character. Love him and can’t wait to see more of him!
Overall, and I really DO apologize for the tl;dr cause it’s kind of ridiculous… I think you do a fantastic job with your characters, and if any of this comes across as rude in any way that was absolutely not my intention (I want to throw in that disclaimer just because things did get kind of heated last month, it seems). I really love your characters and I love that you’re part of this game, so I just want more opportunity to be able to interact with you and your characters. I think you do a great job handling a vast variety of situations and events for your characters, and I love seeing them around. And like I said in the beginning, I definitely see the improvement in your activity and love to see you around the logs and other entries.
