I'm not about to pretend to be unbiased, but jesus anons, this is a pretty harsh few comments toward someone with only a couple characters just asking to get poked if you're waiting on a tag back too long. Obviously I'm not Apa, but I have never actually seen someone make any move to poke her aside from the anon comments about this issue last time... which like she points out, isn't particularly helpful when she doesn't know who you are. So, has either one of you actually tried to and I've just missed it? A simple specific poke even once (not "every single time") can lead to plotting! Can show more than a passing interest! I know I've had threads dropped on me by tons of people in the game that I didn't follow up on at all with the other person, and I've come to find that just not saying anything and taking it to anon when crit time comes around isn't productive. Dumping string of "general" tags in someone's lap and expecting the ball to be their court every time is frankly just as bad as someone not taking responsibility for their own activity. Can be hard on a player trying to keep up, too. And I see people do this all the time anyway, with it leading to dropped threads from both ends. I mean, I guess I could be the only one who notices that or feels this way, but...
I don't know. If you're too "busy" with all your threads to even just make a passing comment about a CR you want to establish or keep going, then I'm also kinda side-eyeing the need to feel insulted/discouraged on your part here a little. Everyone has their reasons to be selective sometimes (some more than others), and should be allowed to at least express what might help them get the ball rolling out of selectivity without getting ripped on over it.
Not that you're not allowed to voice your opinions, or still say "I think your activity could be better" -- Apa, I'd love to see you having longer threads with random characters more often and keeping threads going in your entries consistently, too. Just as others can come and poke you if you're sitting on things for whatever reasons, you too can probably at least go back to entries you've made or look at tags you've left and see if there's a comment that you can give there, or if there's something that can come out of a thread with a specific other character. If not... try to poke too. Or even try not to spend too much time thinking about if the reply is gonna come to you right away.
I just think activity crit can be such a tricky and unhelpful thing a lot of the time, and be hard to respond to because of it. Anons, I don't believe Apa's trying to dismiss you guys as much as you seem to feel. And argh I'm sorry, I swear I'm not looking to argue or chastise even if I sound like it in this comment. It isn't my place to make assumptions about anyone, and I'm not the most eloquent person ever so I do apologize ahead of time if anything I say is completely off base at all. Just didn't sit right with me to keep without saying anything.
