Epic return + not-event information
I'm back, as promised~ Thanks for all the well-wishes.
More importantly, I'm going to let you all in on the not-event I've been meaning to do for a few weeks.
So basically, Zashiki-Warashi has been learning to bake so she can make things to cheer up her human friends and, ultimately, to impress Watanuki. However, she doesn't really eat and she's very industrious, so her room is full of fairly mediocre-tasting (though very pretty!) cake. Thus, in a few minutes she'll be posting a plea for people to come and take some of her cake. That and she wants feedback as to how good or bad it is.
But, a Zashiki-Warashi is a spirit of luck and, unbeknownst to her, a little of her magic rubbed off on the cakes while she was making them. Thus, if your character eats some of the cake, they'll find themselves slightly luckier than usual. Think of it a little like a watered-down version of Felix Felicitus from Harry Potter. Your character won't get any drastic change in luck (like winning the lottery or happening to stumble on a deep dark Kiseki secret) but they might find things they thought they'd lost or might be a little cleverer with social interaction or might find that they're swifter in a fight. Be creative. The amount of cake they eat will determine how long the effect lasts. A slice will probably last about an hour (though the effects gradually weaken as the cake is digested), so use that as a benchmark I guess.
Not-event starts once ZW posts (i.e. in a few minutes) and ends on Sunday when the magic in the cake fades entirely. Logging with ZW isn't required to get your cake (you can just pretend you stopped by and got cake with no problem). If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
Oh, right! I almost forgot to mention. ZW has been experimenting and trying to make her own cakes, so there are cakes that aren't quite so sweet as regular cake (she's thinking of Umi, aww). They may taste really funky, but they're not super-sweet. (I was trying to think of the Kuro-muns. |D;;)
So, my friends, I have but one question for you: Cake or death?
S-sorry, I couldn't resist.
