[Seeing Okita's relief makes Souji relax a little bit more. The worst thing he could possibly tell the other had been well-received, which means he doesn't need to be quite as careful about anything else they happen to discuss. Which is good, because Souji is really bad at being subtle when he's hiding things from people.
For now, Souji's more focused on hiding his embarrassment over having confessed his own abilities. He can't help but fluster a bit, instinctively starting to lower his gaze back to the table or biting at his lip to convey his nervousness. It's a sizable difference from how he had acted when he had first met his team, being horribly overconfident in his abilities, but it's rare for him for meet someone he knows is more skilled than he is. Until now, it's only been Torin and his father who he's been able to look up to.
After a few moments of struggling to fight down his awkwardness, Souji looks back up, still seeming a bit uncomfortable.]
Being named after someone like you means I have a lot to live up to. ... I've already mastered my family's style and developed my own alongside it. I can't claim to be skilled in much more than that.
[Though, for having accomplished all of this when he's only sixteen, he knows he's not doing too badly.]
