[Souji continues to cling for a few minutes, settling for burying his face in Ian's shoulder as he takes a few deep breaths (definitely not crying). The longer he stands there, the tighter his hold on the back of Ian's jacket seems to be. It reminds him how thankful he is to have someone like Ian around, who seems to slowly be understanding Souji as much as Souji understood him. With the mess of events they'd been through together, it was one of the few things that helped to keep him sane.
Eventually, Souji's hold loosens as he finally seems to relax, content with the knowledge that Ian is real and definitely his Ian. Ian's words prove that even more, the small smile on Souji's face hidden as he keeps his head down. He hasn't let go yet even though there's now space between them.
That's probably a good idea. I don't want to be around anyone else.
[Okay, maybe that would have sounded a little strange in other context, but for now....]
