[ In response she's quiet for a moment, before nodding sadly. ]
. . . My brother disappeared. [ A heavyhearted sigh, before concentrating on one of the parfaits in front of her. ]
When we were little, we used to be very close. Oniisama was always so kind and doting toward me. [ Twirling the ice cream within around, she's soft spoken. This kind of thing... she doesn't normally explain to others. But maybe because they are strangers it's a little easier to get the weight of the situation off her shoulders with.]
But a bunch of things happened when I was only five, and for a long I suffered from amnesia, and we had to grow apart. Oniisama was raised by the senate, and I had an adoptive father. I regained all of my memories a year ago, and at that time my brother took me away to live with him.
[ She shakes her head, eyes fallen and shoulders slumped. ]
But no matter how hard I tried to make him happy, I was never able to. And ultimately, after promising that we could stay together once more, he left.
[ With a deep breath she wraps her arms around her waist, eyes closing. ]
He's done a number of terrible things. He threw away his position, and has hurt even dear friends of the family. I've been trying to find him for so long now. But then we both arrived here. [ Glancing up, she smiles sadly.]
I thought... this is perfect. Maybe this can be a brand new start. There's no reason for him to hurt anyone here. Maybe now he can finally focus on being happy, and stop.
[ But that would be too easy, wouldn't it. Twirling her ice cream again, she shakes her head. ]
In the end, he still avoided me. [ Brows knitting down, she's obviously frustrated and upset. ] He does whatever he thinks is right and for my own good, regardless of how I feel on the issue. He just pushes me away and wont allow me to understand. I'm so angry and hurt.
[ That idiot... ]
But even still... with enough time here, I thought that he might abandon his plans at home. And that we could be together again. But now's he's gone back again. And with me here, I don't have any way to stop or find him.
