[She glances over to him and considers for a few moments of silence. But after a moment she nods slowly. There's not reason to explain everything in detail, but maybe just getting it out there will help a little bit.]
All right...
[ Where to begin ]
My ex-fiance is here. He's not a good person to get involved with, so I'm really vexed over how to handle the situation. [ There's a short pause. ] He's still important to me though. Constantly... I'm really confused over how to feel about things.
[ But if he thinks that's all of it, it's far from over. ]
. . . There is a hunter here, too. He promised to kill me, once, but apparently he wants to be friends again. It's such a complicated situation though
[ She frowns, clearly upset. Drawing her knees up closer, she stares blindly at the water beneath her.]
My family is responsible for so much of the sadness in his life. I'm not sure how to respond to that. We used to be good friends, until... until we had a really bad falling out.
[ The worst, really. It's still painful remembering that day. He'd rejected her because of what she was. His brother had died. Her entire world had turned upside down all over again. It's a bad memory. She heaves a large sigh. ]
And to top it all off my-- my medication disappeared. So I'm at a loss right now. There's so much to figure out, I'm not sure where to start.
