so lucky. i repeat: worst h/c fic ever.
[To Ciel's credit, he at least spends those five posts making an effort, overcoming difficulties and actually doing something productive. Let's see if Sebastian, in this one post and in the following hour, manages to do anything at all of use:
First he spends a few seconds thinking about what an absolute brat his master is. Then he spends a considerable larger amount of seconds wondering how literally he should interpret "don't move". It's only that he's not allowed to try to leave the room, right? Would it be disobedient to attempt to at least sit up? Just because he could hardly move just a few minutes ago doesn't mean he won't be able to now - he'll just have to be more stubborn than this blasted sickness. Eventually he concludes that 1) if he's not lying flat on his back he'll at least be marginally less useless, which would benefit everyone, and 2) if Ciel wants his orders interpreted in a specific way he'd better learn to phrase them more carefully.
It takes Sebastian, oh, some five tries (and embarrassingly long stretches of time in between each try just trying to catch his breath), but eventually he manages to prop the pillow behind his back in such a way that he's at least half-sitting in the bed. Great success.
And of course, because Sebastian's life can never be easy: while he's waiting for his head to stop reeling from that exertion, he coughs. By the time Ciel returns, he's coughed quite a few more times - at least he's gotten a handkerchief out and is doing all that nasty coughing into it. Sick or not, there has to be some limit to how pathetic he'll be. He immediately stops when he notices Ciel's back - only when Ciel opens the door, because Sebastian's head is filled with gravel at present - and turns his head to look at his master approaching.]
Goodness, young master... [Look at you. Did you take a tumble with the entire kitchen content.
And wouldn't that be a nice solution: Grell either kisses Sebastian better or chainsaws him out of his misery. Either way Ciel would be spared of Sebastian whining.]
