He shudders, at the touch but also her reaction. She's nothing like the senseless monster that lay slain in the woods. There's so much more to her and whether that's a justification or not never seems to matter in these moments. His belly draws in, eyes growing dark for what he knows come next.
"Okay," he's saying, licking his lips as he allows her to lead this time. Not that he'd have much choice if she wanted to force the issue, but as always that danger glints just under the surface and adds so much more to their encounters.
