[The first two weeks back were nothing but disorienting -- stumbling when he gauged the distance wrong, accidentally opening the door with such force the handle was left in his hand, thinking he should move and finding out he'd already done it.
The weeks that followed, though, brought more stability, made him grow used to the changes, with the help of the few who knew about what had happened. To the public, though, the only information let out was that the Mayor's bodyguard and right hand had had an emergency in the family and had left for a while, but was now back.
And he was, rather feeling out of place and more or less horrified with everything; he'd offered to step down from his position, to spare Elsa from having to hide what he'd become, but it had gone about as well as he thought... though in hindsight, perhaps he shouldn't have done it right before the visit from the Queen. He thinks it's nothing but an inconvenience, heaping pressure on the town, its inhabitants, and of course its Mayor -- bringing unwanted attention to those he'd rather stayed out of the public eye. But there's very little a bodyguard can do, and so Bucky's left in charge of the things Elsa is too busy to run herself, making him appear around the town more often than not, overseeing the preparations, dropping in on the hunters, to ask them if they can assume the Queen's visit to go peacefully.
So maybe you're one of those making the preparations, seeing him nod his head in greeting at you and ask:] Is everything goin' alright, here?
[... or perhaps you happen to be the hunter he manages to catch during the daylight.] You got a moment?
[Maybe you have business with the Mayor, but have to talk to him first to see her, seeing how he's standing there in front of her office, hand resting on his hip as he tilts his head, raises an eyebrow.] Sorry, pal, but the Mayor's busy, so unless you got an appointment...
[... or maybe you happen to spot him near nightfall, visiting one of the houses at the edge of the town, the place where the hunters who don't want to draw attention to themselves often stay at.]
