It's still overwhelming no matter how many times he tries to make it normal. He can handle offering up affection and support to the other man. What throws him is receiving it in return. It feels natural like it did with Bucky so many years ago.
Tears prick his eyes. He'll never shed them. He almost never does. The reaction isn't meaningless though. "Hey, Tony?" It comes out small and tentative. It barely sounds like him. "I'm glad I told you." At least he's not alone in this now while they're here.
