[Leo listens closely to the story. It certainly helps him get distracted, to not think about all the water surrounding them. It's... an incredible story, really. If he hadn't already seen Tony's reactor then he might have not believed it at all. So the man really was a superhero. And if both him and the suit were the same, then maybe they had even more in common than what Leo had thought at first.]

[Tony was sharing so much with him, despite being in the same situation as he was: scared, worried about the situation at hand. And he still went out of his way to keep him distracted. So he doesn't even think about it, the words simply come out of his mouth.]
I'm like you, too. I need something artificial to live. It's... it's not a reactor in my chest, but my brain. Or part of it, rather.
