[She nods a little, still looking rather miserable to have him have to feel this, but lets him take that orb away. Once he touches it, he'll feel---
anger at first, an anger and a frustration, a feeling of helplessness (being stuck, being trapped, being tricked into this), but a small, small, small little part of resignation (if it means the others will be safe, if it means the Air Nation will live on--)
Here, things start to blur, not because the things are feeling less intensely, but rather Miracle Country intervening to keep it from becoming too intense because the next feeling is--
fear, so much fear, so much pain, pain, more pain (fighting, fighting, fighting against it) but you're being poisoned from the inside out and you're chained down and it's meant to hurt you, it's meant to kill you, it's meant to destroy you and every other life thereafter, it isn't just about you dying, it's about all of you dying...
And everything cripples and splinters together until there is nothing left to feel but that gruesome torture, that pain and fear that compounds into a deep, primal sense of survival (but fighting against that, no no, going into that survival mode means we all die, it means it's all over, it means the light will leave---)
But you can't fight against it
and it all starts to blur
and your vision starts to fade
and you can't feel anything else -- nothing but that need to survive, that need to get free, that need to get away, no matter the cost.]
