[Ciel drops the pin into his hand, fingers clenching around it in indecision as he contemplates Sebastian's challenging words. What should he do? He could very well send the man away, but then what if he's telling the truth? Ciel has never been on his own before, nor dressed himself or procured his own food. Having Sebastian see to those actions would make his time here easier. And if he's not telling the truth, wouldn't it be better to have him where Ciel can keep an eye on his actions? After all, he can't just let a man run around proclaiming to be a Phantomhive butler when he isn't. Then again, it's not like he has experience at that sort of thing.
There's another moment's indecision before Ciel's eyes narrow in conviction, the pin disappearing into his pocket.
Sorry, Sebastian, but he won't be returning that pin to you anytime soon. You'll just have to be an unofficial Phantomhive head butler until then.]
