[To say he's overwhelmed by the feelings would be the understatement of the century. He knows Aramis well enough that he can place each instance even as he feels it - knew some of these feelings already, could at least guess at the others Aramis never articulated. But it's one thing to know the feelings, know what he must be thinking, and another thing entirely to physically feel it, and feel everything over the course of years condensed down to an instant understanding of each moment.]
[He staggers back a little at the force of it, sways on the spot, gasping out a little and just. unable to process all of it. It's too much. Where in any other situation, he might be able to provide some comfort, or understanding, or at least just hold him -- now it's like he's feeling the emotions, too, Aramis' emotions getting wrapped up in his own.]
[So he just stares blankly down at the ground for a moment before he heaves out a shaky breath and lets out a heavy sob, ducking his head and shaking all over, completely overwhelmed and unable to process it all.]
