[Steve can't remember the last time he had spent the day relaxing on the beach. The past several years hadn't been conductive to vacationing or even taking a day off. He hadn't minded it, by nature he's far more comfortable when he feels useful and has something productive to do. But now that he's relaxing in a beach chair, sunglasses pulled down over his eyes to protect from the glare of the sun, and his sketchbook in his lap, he has to admit that this is pretty nice too.
He sketches idly, copying down scenes from around him; people playing in the water, in the sand, the group playing beach volleyball a few yards away. He spends much of the afternoon this way in between trips into the water. In the evening he will participate in the fireworks, buying an assortment of them and sharing them with others.]
Two:
[So, dragons. Even after all the fantastic, strange, and outrageous things Steve has witnessed, somehow dragons had never seemed like a possibility to him. But then, Miracle Country itself is the strangest experience he's ever had.
Once Steve gets over the shock of well, dragons, and understands that they're not providing a threat and actually need his help, he'll be hopping onto the back of one and heading in the direction of the Alpha. For anyone he spots along the way, he'll be offering rides and what little information he's gathered.]
