1/2 because i'm amazing
First of all, I really appreciate you coming back to this to tell me all of this! Secondly, lmao there's a certain irony in this comment coming in like two hours after I made a plurk about wanting to do a state of rp meme, which, had I actually made one, would have contained a long deliberation over whether or not I should drop Matt... so, you know, you're clearly onto something here.
As for my characters, Bucky was fairly active during last AC so I decided to give him a bit of a break, and even so he had a number of threads in the 4th wall, was there for both Hawke's log and Porthos's birthday post even before the influx of castmates, so it's not like he's been completely gone. Meanwhile Constance had a lot of threads left over from last AC, given that I canon updated her so close to the end of the AC round, so I made the conscious decision to not tag around with her at 4th wall so I could finish the older threads. After 4th wall, she's had threads both with castmates and non-castmates (Agron, Sebastian, Jaeha, Xion, to mention a few) and I'm working on throwing her in the sleeping log now! I'm also assuming you mean "new things of her own to do", since her routine in Kiseki is pretty stable, staying half the time with Anne, half the time working at the hotels -- it's pretty boring and she hasn't done a whole lot outside of that, on that you're absolutely right. As for Gwaine, welp I sort of fell into the "oh god what am I doing" and need to get out of that and just start tagging with him more... I'm sure you know how that is.
What is completely baffling to me here is the part about not knowing when to tag me or approach for plots, because, uh?? I made one plurk in the past about asking people not to threadjack me for a specific log, and then made a new plurk saying threadjacking rules were back to normal and that everyone was free to do it again. Was I somehow unclear on that? Also, in what world does not approaching for plots help? If there's a log I haven't plotted anything for, I'll a) take longer to get to it, b) not know exactly who to tag, c) end up throwing around some of my charas to the top levels that interest me and even then not have a clear direction for the thread. So please, for the love of god, as much as I appreciate the thought, please leave managing my thread count for me -- if at any time I want to skip a log or limit my number of threads, I will let people know. I don't expect anyone to dance on their toes around me, or have to worry about adding to my thread count, or be afraid of plotting with me, that should never happen and I'm incredibly sorry if I've somehow given the impression it should! But seriously. Poke me for plots. Tag my charas. I'm fully capable of saying "hey I'd love to do this too but maybe in a later log I have a lot of threads for this chara right now, would that be okay?".
Also, a great example of why I should be left in charge of my own tag count: how did you get the impression I'm overloaded with tags right now? I remember saying on plurk, quite clearly, that I'm wrapping up older threads from pre-AC, most 4th wall threads are done, and in the end I don't have a whole lot of threads right now, which is exactly why I wanted to tag around a lot in this log. I mean, I guess if tagging speed is a requirement, then I might see your point, but given that not everyone in Kiseki tags every day or every two days, I don't see the problem. As long as people are willing to backtag with me, I'm good! And definitely not behind on things in any of my games right now, actually, so I'm genuinely interested as to how you got the impression.
