[His grin isn't quite as bright as it could be, as it used to be, but it's still there -- he contemplates telling Steve he can keep the journal and the doodling, he doesn't mind it when Steve draws... but this way, Steve's attention is on him rather than the white pages of the journal or whoever he was drawing, and maybe later, he can sit here and watch Steve draw -- now? Now, he'd rather attempt to cheer him up.
Reaching out for a handful of popcorn, he throws a few kernels haphazardly in the air before popping them in his mouth, trying to ignore the instinct to tense up as well, an automatic response drilled into him (and all of them, really, all the Commandos reacted the same way) when he'd see Steve tensing up while they were gathered around a fire during the missions. But this isn't a mission of any kind, unless you count "get Steve to relax" as a mission, and there's absolutely nothing even remotely threatening around them.
So Bucky carefully picks a kernel of popcorn, one that's nicely round and a little on the heavier side (as far as popcorn goes), and promptly throws it at Steve. The kernel lands square in the middle of his forehead.]
Sounds 'bout right. Except the part with the sun -- it don't look like it's comin' out any time soon. [Considering this is the second day with no sun whatsoever, and the whole sleepover setup doesn't seem to be going anywhere.]
