They have in my head and of course Steve isn't a big fan... Sherlock sort of reminds him of Tony Stark (Iron Man) in how invasive and blunt he can be. He also thinks Sherlock has a tendency to go too far with his lessons (a scavenger hunt with traps, come on now). He's also just a very... obnoxious neighbor. He can sometime be heard ranting to himself loudly when people are trying to relax in their rooms and Steve has had to knock on his door a few times to tell him to keep it down.
For Sherlock's part, he thinks Steve would benefit from some therapy because he's clearly troubled even if no one else is picking up on it. He's very aware that Steve stupidly throws himself into danger to help others, but he also thinks that there's a difference between calculated risks and foolish heroics. And Steve is the latter. He also gets frustrated talking to Steve like he does most people, because again, it's frustrating when you feel you have to change the way you speak to someone so they can better understand you.
Overall, Steve knows he means well, even if he's kind of a pain. And Sherlock respects Steve for being a good person. But their personalities are very different and would clash too much for them to get along.

What are some pet-peeves your characters have, and have they met people here that irritate them because of those?
