And he does like things about it! It's just that since he's so single-minded, none of it outweighs his "This Is Not My Contract" feelings. Sebastian generally enjoys the opportunity for new experiences and learning new things, and there's plenty of that in Kiseki. His nerdy delight over microwaves is very genuine, and he's happy about modern technology making housework go so fast. He also kind of... vaguely appreciates people in general as long as they don't fit his criteria for annoying, so there are plenty of people in Kiseki he enjoys interacting with, and it's not just the super-powered, magical ones either. Also, if left unchecked Sebastian would probably devolve into a crazy cat lady, so: he considers every single cat in Kiseki a ~*~precious treasure~*~.
