Re: Question
Yeah, Sherlock doesn't get what the big deal is with it having to be a secret at all, since in his mind it's just Kiseki and that knowledge wouldn't negatively affect them here like it would in their own world. It's his usual failing at tact and, of course, not putting himself in someone else's shoes.

Without a doubt, him becoming and learning to love being a teacher. While in his own canon he's discovered that he's good at taking on an apprentice (Joan and then Kitty), it would never occur to him to teach an entire classroom full of students in a school setting. Kiseki sort of pushed him into taking the position as a biology teacher and he was extremely reluctant to do so, believing it was a bad idea for everyone involved. Now, his view on it is so much more positive. He's telling people about things that excite him and watching them learn and form their own opinions about the subjects he shares. Furthermore, he's far less bored than he would be if he just had one person to tutor. Being trapped in Kiseki can be rather tedious after so long, even with the occasional events.
And something he hasn't yet touched on, but is also very important, is the fact that his network of people that he cares for and feels responsible to has grown larger. Teaching helps him stay sober. His addiction is always there in the back of his mind, and he continues to struggle with it everyday, but having so many people to think about besides himself has made it a little easier than it is even back home for him to say "no" whenever he gets the urge to use. (Plus it helps that to his knowledge, there aren't any drugs here besides alcohol).
So yes, him being a teacher is something he never wanted, but ended up truly loving as much as being a consultant.

Since Shin-Ah is new in Kiseki, are there certain characters you are interested in bouncing him off of apart from his castmates, and what character types would he most likely get along with? Additionally, are there characters he may not mesh well with?
