| About: | A kinkster is a friendly term used in the BDSM community to refer to someone else who also participates in BDSM activities. This asylum will focus on the discussion of such topics, and is open to those 18 years of age or older, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. In general, the asylum is not intended for scene recaps. Instead of a play-by-plays, this community aims to discuss the motives behind BDSM activities and the feelings sessions invoke. If you must describe what you did this weekend, make sure you focus on why you did it as well how it made you feel. Discussion of specific techniques or "how-to" craft guidelines are encouraged as well. Do not post photos unless they contribute directly to the discussion at hand. Even if they do add something, please post them under a cut. Likewise, posts longer than fifteen lines should use the cut tag judiciously. Should you be unsure how to use this tag, please consult the IJ FAQ. No fiction, spam, or personal ads please. There are communities for such, all of which can be found by searching IJ's interests. Finally, it cannot be stressed enough that this is a community for adults and adults only. This means two things. First, should we discover that any member is under the age of 18, we will delete your posts, remove you from the community, and permanently ban you. Second, this means you must act like an adult while here. Do not check your etiquette at the door. Think before you type and do not attack or harass members who happen to have opinions different from your own. This, too, will lead to the deletion of posts, removal, and banning.
