"Ah ah, AH!" Simon's sharp objection cut Julie off before she could get too far into her objection, his finger jabbing momentarily into the air to demand her pause, before going back to the keyboard. He didn't even look up, continuing to watch the screen with mounting anticipation. He proceeded to tap-tap-tap away for several awkward moments, severely refusing any interruption, before pressing one final key with a triumphant gesture. "There! Genius! Amazing! Print it!" She shouted, apparently to himself, as he had no minions to rush the article off to the presses. Glowing with self-satisfaction, he finally leaned back in his chair and looked up to the intruder who'd just breached the sanctity of his journalistic fortress.
As Julie stepped into the room his eyes flashed with that typical expression of grateful surprise any boy is prone to when faced with a beautiful girl speaks directly to him - especially a boy who spent most of his time in quarters such as these. Not one to show weakness in awe, of course, he quickly collected his wits and switched to an impatiently curious visage. "Simon Liebowitz, Head Editor." He retorted sharply, leaning forward to shake her hand. "Nice to meetcha. So you wanna write, eh?" He began his answers before she was actually finished speaking, as though time was of the essence even in conversation. "What sort of experience you got? Impress me!"
