Julie wasn't sure if this was the best course of action for her, but she figured that at the very least it would help her gain some experience in writing for a publication. Of course, when she asked people where the office for The Scroll was, she got a different answer from each person. It took her quite some time before she actually found it, and even then she had passed it about four times before realizing it was there.
A light knock on the door, and then Julie opened it, seeing the mess laid out before her. "Er, Sorry!" She checked the front of the door again, then looked at the desk with the admission of Head Editor on it. She was in the right place, and not some make shift dorm room that was in desperate need of cleaning. "This is The Scroll, yes?"
Julie looked almost terrified as she asked the question, her nerves getting the better of her at this point in time. Instead of letting her fear get the better of her, she took a deep breath and stepped inside, holding her hand out to the man sitting at the computer. "My name is Julie Isley. I was-" then she realized just how stupid it sounded, "I was just wondering if you needed another writer?"
