Grandpa must DIE
Considering how school had gone the previous day, Riku had a better day today. There had been no detention, no avoid Sora, and no drama class, mainly for the reason that he hadn’t set the alarm clock and had very happily slept through the class. Which was, of course, followed by Roxas waking up and freaking out that they’d over slept. Riku calmly told Roxas to shut up and stop yelling. Roxas had a boyfriend with a vehicle, Axel could get him to school. Riku, meanwhile, took his time and drove back with Sora to his own house to get his uniform, and then went to school, just in time to completely miss first period. The impromptu make-out session in the car helped ensure that they wouldn’t see any of drama class. Take that Marluxia.
After school, they’d gathered Kairi and Namine for two hours to hang out at this ice cream place (and it had really looked like some kind of double date and this one old lady waitress kept cooing over them until Riku leaned over and solidly kissed Sora. She’d blinked a few times, and then smiled and commented about kids these days. Which then made Kairi hit Riku on the head with one of the menus on the table because now it made it look like she and Namine were dating especially because the girls were sharing a treat and EW! Namine was her sister! That was just wrong. It was, however, the first time she’d actually seen the boys really act couplely towards each other, and proceeded to tease them the rest of the afternoon until Riku had to go home because the stupid dog had to be walked, because his mom and dad were both working late. Which sucked, because he had wanted to spend some more time with his friends.
But no, Riku was stuck walked the dog he wished his parents had never bothered to bring home. They had thought it would be good for him. But Oliver was just an annoyance. Like now. How could a fire hydrant really be THAT interesting. “Come ON, Oliver.” Riku pulled harder on the dog’s leash.
