Sora can live with being bad ass. Tsuna didn't see him that way, but he was his brother.
Tsuna looked at his hand in Gokudera's. It felt kind of complicated. He'd always thought he was perfectly happy, and then Gokudera came along. He was stressful, and scary, and intense, and Tsuna kind of didn't like it. But he was a lot of other things, too. Like fun, and loyal, and passionate, and kinda sweet...ish. And Tsuna didn't realize that he could be happier than he already was. And he started to wonder if he could be even happier than that.
But then it crashed down, and while he still wasn't as unhappy as his normal, boring life had been, he was definitely not as happy as he probably could be. Which was what made everything so confusing.
"I'm fine," he replied, dodging a real answer, giving Gokudera a half-smile and turning his attention to the direction the bus was going to come from instead.
