Dick couldn't decide if he was sad there was none of the crazy acrobatics of the night before or not; normally he might have been able to hold on, but his muscles were beyond fatiqued.
Running straight out was good, anyway. It was fast. Not as fast as the Flash. Or Superman. Or Wonder Woman. Or, well, his motorcycle. (How he missed his motorcycle.) But still, there was something great about hanging onto a living thing, especially one that wasn't--exactly--a meta, and who couldn't necessarily save you if the branch broke.
Oh, he was sure Kisame would do his level best, but...
It added another level of awesome.
And you know what else added another level of awesome? Knowing that cliff was coming up at some point. His heart hammered in his chest, against Kisame's spine, and he grinned at Duo. "It gets better!" he yelled, laughing, over the wind.
