Zach followed Iruka's gaze out to the sea, but he didn't see anything particularly out of the ordinary. It was...sea. That was really more Hodgins' department than his, though he couldn't deny having an acute curiosity about the subject.
"I should go with you," Zach said with wholly unwarranted certainty. "It doesn't make sense to split up in an unfamiliar place, and I'm very smart. I might have some pertinent knowledge."
Iruka's description of the island, though -- "strange" -- at once interested him and vaguely worried him. The interest won out in the end, though.
