Coffee. Cookies. That was easy. Genma reached into his knapsack again and pulled out a brushed metal thermos and a pair of long, slender biscotti. Baked squarely in the middle of each cookie, girdling it and gleaming gold, was a wedding ring. One sized to fit Raidou's hand, and one for his own. They were even already engraved with the date and "Raidou and Genma, Eternal Soulmates, Eternal Love." Though that couldn't be seen until they were freed from their cookie-confines.
Somewhere in another plane of existence, a prong-horned goat-centaur demon stopped what he was doing for long enough to smile beatifically. The damned soul he was impaling on his improbably outsized erection was suitably scarred for his eternal afterlife.
"OK, here," Genma said, and thrust the cookies into Raidou's hands. He opened the thermos and poured out a rich, fragrant, black brew into the cup that served as a lid.
"I'll tell you about Ibiki after we finish getting married."
Raidou had a far-away look. A slightly lost look. Genma leaned in close and kissed him.
